Ann Arbor, MI— October 24-26, 2012, Pete Thomas, the Season 2 At-Home Winner of NBC’s “The Biggest Loser” will return for a third year in a row –this year as the Official Corporate Health and Wellness Association (CHWA) Ambassador at the 4th Annual Corporate Wellness Conference taking place in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Dubbed the “Voice” of Corporate Wellness, for being one of the nation’s top motivational speakers in the Corporate Wellness sphere, Thomas is the ideal individual to represent the CHWA in this capacity. Thomas will also Chair the Corporate Wellness Certification track for hundreds of Human Resource professionals seeking to become Specialists in the field of Corporate Wellness.

“This is a pivotal year in the life of the Corporate Wellness Conference and I’m grateful to be a part of it. More and more human resource professionals are seeking the knowledge necessary to run an effective wellness program and this is the place to learn it.” Thomas states.

The theme of this year’s conference is “Creating a Healthy Culture through innovative Engagement Methods” and will address the biggest challenge most employers face—which is getting employees actively “engaged” in their own health and wellness. The conference will showcase best practices and case studies from corporations around the country in order to help HR and wellness professionals identify techniques that work.

“The level of knowledge and networking available at the Corporate Wellness Conference is simply not available anywhere else. But in addition to that, we’ll have some fun and get some good workouts in as well!” Thomas says, speaking of his signature SLIM U™ Corporate Boot Camp taking place each morning at 6:00 AM. Thomas will also hold a book signing at the conference on Thursday evening from 5:30 pm -7:30 pm in the main exhibit hall. Thomas is the author of the newly released, “LOSE IT FAST, LOSE IT FOREVER: A 4-Step Permanent Weight Loss Plan from the Most Successful “Biggest Loser” of All Time” (Avery, an imprint of Penguin Group USA).
